Guess what! It’s gas time! In this blog, I’m going to give you a few tips on how to prevent “burnouts” or “engine failure” when it comes to writing.
When you feel your writing engine is starting overheat, it’s time to stop, reset, and return to the road.
A few things may happen along the way that might cause you to need to “gas up” and we will discuss that in this article.
How would you feel if you were on the open road and your car went dead on the side of the interstate? Well that’s happened to me before and it made for a great part in my newest book coming soon.
Here are some ways to prevent “engine trouble” on the open road:
Number 1: When you feel your “engine” overheating, stop, pull over, turn off your engine, and wait.
Number 2: Focus on the smaller things and wait to work on the more stressful parts later.
Number 3: When you’re recharged, start on your journey again.
I hope you found these tips helpful for the next time you face an inevitable “breakdown”.
