I can vividly remember what I was doing on September 8, 1996; I was 2 years old, seated in my bedroom about to watch a brand new children’s show called “Blues Clues”.

From the moment that big blue paw print flashed on the screen, I was hooked.
The host Steve was very fun and inviting and it was colorful and engaging to my 2 year old brain.

Well looking back, 25 years later, that show instilled something in me to write my latest children’s book and it inspired this article on the anniversary of what I call “the turning point of my childhood”.

Since then I’m a “Blue’s Clues aficionado” meaning I have watched every episode twice, I have had the notebooks an crayons, Mailbox, shirts and more.

But fast forward to me 25 years later, I am 27, I am an author and what I would call a “blue paw print expert” meaning I know every little thing about the show.

But today’s blog is just a short moment to remember this incredible show and the reason why I am an author today.
