This article is from September 8, 2021, please forgive me for the late upload.

On September 8, 2021, AuthorOnWheels added a new piece of hardware to himself, a pair of eyeglasses, something I had desperately needed for a few years but was too chicken to go in for a consultation and too shy of how I would look as a “four eyes”, well I bit the bullet, wheeled in and within a week and a half I was behind the glasses wearers I had so desperately wanted to avoid.

These glasses sparked an idea in my head henceforth this article was born.

Have you ever taken a look at a piece you’ve written, gotten fed up with, walked away and came back to it with a new sense of creativity? Well that’s what all people feel if they are as creative as an author on wheels, they sit in front of the computer for hours if not days on end perfecting their piece of paper to the infinitum degree of exhaustion.

And at the end of it you’re like Spongebob looking at the plant he was growing, watering his weary eyes with a comically oversized watering can.

Well in this article I’d like to impose 3 simple ways to look at your writing in new, fresh ways much like me the first moment I was able to read an article from my own website on my smartphone without shoving my face into the screen like a hungry shark going after a school of tasty salmon, nonetheless, let’s get on with the article.

The first and most brilliant way I have found is to inject a bit of comedy into your writing, if you’re writing a recipe of how to boil pasta, my suggestion is to write your directions in such a way that it attracts the reader and almost begs them to make the pasta, o.k. I’m hungry, I’m sorry.

The second way is to look at your writing piece as if you’re writing to the President or another famous figure.

And finally number three, look at your writing as a new way to express your own individuality, give it a pop of character like I do when I dress well, think of each layer of a fine outfit as a piece of your writing, the more you add, the better it looks.

So now that I have regaled you with tales of food and clothing, let me ask you this: How are you telling your own story? Because as I always say, I tell my story on wheels, what about you? See you soon.
